Abstract

Ceftaroline is a 5th generation cephalosporin antibiotic which has an extended spectrum of activity, being able to target multi-drug resistant bacteria such as methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Together we will learn more about how ceftaroline works, who it can be used for and how it can be incorporated into our treatment of the critically ill patients.
